This project, complete and presented with 6-foot-tall perspectival images, was the most ambitious and deepest dive I have seen myself as a designer take into architecture up to this point. As a class, we examined the area across from UT's Campus above the water, solely taking our own experiences into account. I chose to look at the future building as a type of human body, which could fluctuate according to a set of conditions given by the environment, and understandably stick up for itself at other times. This was largely due to the understanding of the wind and water I noticed when I was there and how much it trembled the area - something that connected with my own past diagnosis of epilepsy. This building is a science experiment, a full cadaver able to be punctured, wounded, shaped, configured, and adjusted according to its extenuating circumstances.
